In 2014 I had the chance to co-chair CADIA Conference at USC School of Architecture. This work was shared with USC colleagues David Gerber and Alvin Huang and also dozens of dedicated volunteers, from technical session chairs to USC students.The event would not have succeeded if it wasn’t for all of them.

Acadia 2014 became the biggest Acadia to date with over 550 participants. It also became USC largest Visions and Voices event, where Zaha Hadid brought more than 2000 attendees to que for a keynote lecture.

Acadia was truly a celebration of architecture and technology at many scales, broadening the scope of the discipline and allowing students to envision possible career paths.
